Christa + Mike - Ybor Engagement
Christa stole one of Mike’s French fries in a bar...
And that’s when he knew he loved her… Just kidding. I’m not sure the exact moment but Christa and Mike spent a lot of dates in Ybor City, dancing, smoking cigars, drinking mojitos. A lot of those moments inspired them to have Ybor as the backdrop for their engagement shoot.
On a hot June day, we ran around the main strip of Ybor City exploring the spot they used to frequent together. I was sooo in love with Christa’s vibrant red dress it was perfect for this whole shoot. We managed to dodge a crazy Florida thunderstorm and finished the shoot eating French friends and drinking cocktails at Flora and Fina, the bar/lounge at the bottom of the beautiful Hotel Haya.
